Hello all! Just a quick question about the pads and products. I have searched and don't recall seeing any info on this. Question is: Is it better to use an Orange LC pad with a light abrasive (Ex. Poor boys SSR1) or LC White Pad with a more abrasive (Ex. Poor boys SSR2 or 2.5)? I have some water spots and I guess it is called spider webing. I will try to get some sun pics as soon as I can find my camera charger. Thanks
Also any suggestions of other products would be great!
Personally I use the more agressive pads for the more aggresive products. Usually the more aggresive products require more heat to break down and sometimes the lighter pads just won't cut it. I would start with the orange pad and SSR2 or 2.5 and then go to the white pad and SSR2 or SSR1.
I totally agree with Bob. Don't use an orange pad with SSR1, it won't remove much but it might haze up your finish. I would go with what Bob said...SSR2.5/Orange --> SSR1/White. Or, if the swirls aren't all that bad, you could just use SSR2.5/White (2.5 works well with both pads, but cuts better with Orange and finishes down better with White).

Thanks for the info. I am probrably gonna get some SSR2 and use it with the white pad at first and if I dont get desired results with that then I will use the orange pad with it. Then go with SSR1 with LC white pad. Couple more questions. Do you guys use white or black pad with final polish before using sealant or wax? Also since Chemical Guys is currently on sale which one is comparable to PBs SSR2? Thanks for the help.
I alwats finish polish with the white pad and wax or seal with the black. Another line you might want to consider is the Four Star Body Shop Line.

CGC-2 is very similar  to SSR2.
