If the spoiler on a car has clear coat failure and a little section of it is bubbling up. Would it be best to leave it alone or cut into it and get rid of the bubble so no more air gets underneath it?
I know it needs a new paint job but just to make the paint last longer.
I was thinking getting rid of the bubble then just sealing it with chemical guys m seal and keeping a coat of m seal on it.
Don’t really have any experience with clear coat failure.

I would leave it alone. It could start peeling all over if you mess with it. I would just wait and have it repainted.

Ok cool. I guess ill just keep the spoiler protected with a sealant.
Hopefully it will last a while longer before turning silver [-o< .
I wonder why Honda clear coats are weaker than ford clear coats?
Any ways thanks for the advice Bob. I was going to compound the bubbles off but I guess that would have made things worst #-o .
