Currently its regular ArmorAll. Washes of easily in the rain but that means I have to wash the truck anyway. Not the foam just the pump spray onto a sponge that I purchased and cut it myself. Now I have four tire sponges. :) AA is what I have had before finding this site and others so I will probrably be trying more.

I like CG "gel" for super bright and shiny, and Mothers FX Tire Shine for water-based matte (though it's still pretty glossy).

Poorboy's Bold N Bright and Pinnacle Black Onyx Tire Gel.
I first use the poorboys stuff with a microfiber towel or tire brush to clean the tires.
Then I put a thin layer of pinnacle on the tire.
If I don’t want the tires glossy, ill just put a thin layer of bold N bright on the tires instead of the pinnacle

I was using 303 protectant, just tried Poorboy's BnB that I ordered from Bob. The Poorboy's spreads easily and a little goes a long way. No sling off and a nice matte appearance, which is what I was after.

I really like Meguiar's Hot Shine Tire Spray in the trigger bottles. The shine isn't too bad and it lasts for a very long time and doesn't turn brown. I could apply it and the tires will still have a deep black look to them 2 months down the road with no browning. But thats on the Pirelli tires on the Tacoma.

Poorboys BnB is also one that I like. I haven't used it a lot yet but it amazes me how a tire dressing can be dry to the touch in an instant. Talk about no sling at all.

Poorboy's BnB. I like it because it is easy to use, has some cleaning abilities and is water based.

After using several boutique products, I tend to like the Meguar's Hot Shine Tire Spray. It has a nice shine and it lasts for quite awhile. It cleans up nice too. The last time I used it was over 3 weeks ago and the tires still look nice and black after washing and water still beads on them. For the money and time, it is the best I have found. I will gave to give the Poorboys a shot some time. For detail work, I even use it to spray down wheel wells. It makes them look great.

I'm a big fan of Mother's FX and Armor All Original - both are water-based, readily-available, and inexpensive. FX provides a medium gloss while AA provides a semi-low gloss (not quite matte).

I used BnB in the based but I'm going to have to stop using it. For some odd reason BnB seems to be browning the new tires I have. The old tires (pirelli) looks great and stayed black, well my new sumitomo tires are browning from it which ir really odd. BnB is the only product I've used on them and I use Megs NXT, PB APC, and ONR to clean the tires. I have no clue as to why the browning is occuring so I'm soon to try Wolfgang Black Onyx.

Anyone use Stoner More Shine Less Time? They have a new formula out now that is supposed to last longer. I should have the new formula in soon.

I've always used Armor All Extreme Tire Gel, but recently I've been using Notouch tire foam because its cheap and looks good.

I really haven't found one that I'm tied to; I've tried Zaino Z-16, Armor-All Tire Gel, Mothers Reflections Advanced Tire Care, Meguiars Insane Tire Spray, and Stoner More Shine Less Time (old formula). All are good, but nothing seems to stand out all that much... Still looking for the shine, ease of use, and durability. :?:

Do you like a glossy shine?

Bob,
More often than not, I'm drawn to a glossy shine, but the real determining factor for me to stick with one product will be its durability. I just haven't found one product that's "knocked my socks off". Bruce

Four Star Bazooka is what I use the most. It leaves a high gloss and durability seems to be fairly good.

Off all I have tried my favorite is Poorboy's Bold N Bright. I don't wan't anything too glossy. BNB gives a deep black look with a little gloss. A little goes a long way. I squirt a little onto a foam applicator and a quick wipe around the tire and I'm done. Very nice smell also. I haven't seen any sling off at all either.

Nice site by the way. I have it bookmarked for when I need to reorder. You cary many of the products I use and several new ones for me to try.

Never used the Stone More Shine Less Time

For used dealers and people who like serious shine, I use Pro's Wet Look Tire Dressing. I used to buy it in 55 gallon drums, so quantity made it much cheaper for me. The stuff will destroy a spray trigger in no time, but it makes the tires look wet. It lasts, too.

For new car delivery and people who like a more natural look (myself included), I use Meguiar's Endurance Gel or M40.

I'm on the testing phase now for several OTC products. For years, I used AA Original Formula, with beautiful results. Now, I only use it as wheelwell plastic dressing. The Stoners, I've never had it, but I've seen it it a friend of mines truck, and it looks beautiful! The AA foam lookg really good too, but I've heard and see other forums that it can be used as a prep for the final dressing application. I'm testing now the new Meguiar's Hot Shine Gel, which so far gives a nice shine, but need to deeply clean the wheel to test for durability.

Would love to try PB's BnB as I've heard has descent durability and looks nice!

I like Megs endurance the regular kind.

That's what I use also. I don't like much of a shine, it's more of a matte finish. I use a paint brush to apply it, works great. I won't use anything in a spray, seem to get all over the chrome to mater how careful I am. I've tried spraying the foam applicator but then it doesn't seem to get in all the grooves and letters.

Wait until you guys use the new Danase Tire Dressing! It came in last night and the labels should be in in about 2 weeks. It leaves a natural new look and is water based. :)

Bob,
Any idea as to its anticipated durability? I've been using the 4* Bazooka that I purchased from Danase and I've been happy with the appearance and its durability. I've also increased its durability by first applying AA Tire Foam to cleaned tires, allowing it to dwell for several minutes, buffing it off, then applying the Bazooka. This process provides a great glossy shine. :D

I don't think it will quite hold up to the Bazooka durability since it is water based. And the shine won't be near that of Bazooka.

My favorite is Meg's High Endurance. It seems to last quite a while. If I'm need something quicker, I use Meg's Hot Shine aerosol. I'm really digging aerosol's on tires these days. I'm not really a fan of a pump spray tire shine. Meg's aerosols seem more "control-able".

I love Auto Magic's "Super Dress It". Extreme high gloss, long lasting and does not sling.

I like the Meg's Endurance, but haven't been able to find any in quite sometime until just the other day.

In the meantime, I used Meg's Hot Shine and the NXT Insane Shine, they both were about equal as far as I could tell.

I have tried the AA Extreme gel, but wasn't happy with it... might have just been the crappy applicator they include with it, but I couldn't get it on evenly.

I use Meguire's Endurance, Natural Look. I like the way it lasts and is not real glossy.
