How do you all clean the inside of wheels without removing them? I hate having clean wheels on the outside and on the inside its all dirt, grime, brake dust, etc. Do any of you clean the inside of tires and protect them too? Product suggestions are always welcome too.

It's gonna be almost impossible to clean the inside of the wheels without removing them. You're best off just jacking the car up and taking them off, then cleaning and sealing.

Thats what I was guessing. I have crawled under my truck and kind of cleaned them but there is no way I am gonna seal them like that. What about a good product to clean the brake dust. I have tried Simple Green cut 50/50 with water and didn't have much luck. I believe the wheels are aluminum with crome covers. (Ram 1500 stock wheels)

Once you clean them get some Blitz Wax on them and they will be much easier to clean in the future.

You're going to need to use a brush or two to agitate the cleaner one the inside of the wheel. Poorboy's Spray and Rinse, Meguiar's Wheel Brightener cut 1:2, and some diluted APC's work well; they really loosen up the brake dust but you still need a good brush to agitate the surface.

As Bob recommended, a heavy duty wax like Blitz Wax or maybe some Poorboy's Wheel Sealant would work wonders.

I would not keep using simple green btw, to harsh on your type wheels IMO

Thanks for the help. I have read that SG maybe a little harsh but I have always cut it at least 50/50. I will have to try something else and see what results I get. :?
