Bob,

I convinced my family to get me Danase gift certificates for Christmas. I want to order some stuff from ya. My main thing is a good quick detailer. I have used several over the years and I really like Detail King's stuff. I use it between waxing/sealing to keep the shine up. It goes on and wipes off really easy and direct sun doesn't effect application that noticeably. What do you have that is like that? How about your Danase Speed Shine? Do you have a 32oz bottle of that stuff? Or, what else would you recommend. I also will be using it on detailing jobs for other people.

I am also looking at a good glaze and wax. What are your recommendations?

Thanks,

Bob

Tell them thanks Lloyd! I had quite a few gift certificates come through this weekend! :)

Not to toot my own horn or anything but my favorite quick detailer is the Danase Speed Shine and the product that got me into wanting my own line. I only have 16 ounce and gallon sizes though. Out of everything I carry those are the two sizes that sell the most and is why I only carry them in those sizes.

As for the glaze what wil you be looking for in the glaze? Danase Speed Glaze, which will be Danase Wet Glaze once the new labels and bottles are done, is an outstanding item. However it will not fill so if you need/want filling properties it would not be the right choice. I also recommend Vanilla Moose or Red moose Machine Glaze.

As for a wax I am more of a sealant person and love Four Star UPP. If you are looking for a carnauba based wax however, I recommend P21S, Danase Paste Wax, ClearKote Carnuaba.

Hope this helped some.

I will definitely give the Danase Speed Shine a try. As for glaze, I am looking for for a good polish/glaze for use with a rotary buffer to take out spider webs and swirl marks. Also I am looking for a decent light compound.

Red Moose Machine Glaze would be a good choice.
For the compound I recommend the Four Star Bodyshop Line.

Danase Speed Shine FTW!! That stuff is the most versatile QD I have ever used...unlike most it excels at both cleaning and shining.

You'll want something like RMMG, as Bob mentioned, for a glaze. Danase' Wet Glaze leaves an unbelievably wet finish and even leaves a protective polymer of its own, but it doesn't hide at all.

Another decent light compound is Chemical Guys CGC-1.

BTW Bob, if I get any Hannukah gifts from the extended family I'll be asking for gift certificates.
