What would everyone recommend for a sterile, plastic look on a white car? I like the deep, wet look on my red car and my sons dark green , but the wife does not like it on hers  Thanks!

Pick a sealant, most any sealant. Carnauba's offer the deep look, sealants offer the glossy shine.

Klasse Sealant Glaze is the one product that I have seen/heard of that gives a 'plastic' look. I persosnally don't mind the way it looks and the durability is great.

Thanks, GearHead, but that is where my problem is. The sealants I've been using try to mimic the carnauba look, and doing a pretty good job of it. I'm thankful for that on my darker cars. I guess my question should have been...which sealants still look like a sealant? Just reflective shine.

Wolfgang also has this look.

I don't own any sealant that I can't pick out in a heads up comparison with a quality carnauba and I've got most of the popular sealants. I'm not bad mouthing any sealants either. Both have their place.

Have not tried Klasse yet, used Zaino exclusively for a few years. Using Blackfire now. Heads up with a quality carnauba? No. Pretty good job of getting the depth and wetness and being a sealant? Yes. Will I buy it again? No. I've always got a warmer look with Wolfgang, similar to Blackfire.

+1 for Zaino and Klasse SG

Meguiar's M21 Synthetic Sealant gives me a very clear, durable shine. Unlike many of the older sealants I had used in the 90s, this one has clarity from day one. I've used it for over a year now on personal and other vehicles.

With a great deal of prep it actually made a white 2002 Ford Taurus SES jump out at people because of how reflective the finish was.

While not the Taurus, this picture is a great example of how the metal flake clearly shows through the freshly applied Meguiar's M21 sealant.

The car did take two prior lighter polishing steps before sealant.

The photo is late afternoon sunlight through some trees.
