Glad you signed up...PDR is one that I don't see represented on detailing forums, but I think it ought to be.

Are you mobile or do you have a shop? PDR is a great service and takes much more skill and finesse than people realize.

Goes hand in hand with detailing and retailing...used to refer quite a bit to the good PDR man I knew when I was in business. I never saw him put the knots and bumps in a finish that most in our area did. Art indeed

Would you say this could be a do it yourself task if the tools were available or if you got the right tools? How tough is it too do? I have some dents in the middle of my door could it be done myself since I am too far away to give you the business. :)

Could you give a revised/short process for a dent like this? Its in a rear passenger door. Its where a dumb a$$ hit my door with their door. I will get a pic if that will help. Hey I might try it I have to get it fixed anyway so if I mess it up more then I can just test u professionals skills. lol

well ill try . lets say its a 1 inch in diamater door ding , first of all you need to find out whats behind it , if there is a brace you need a special tool that can reach . if not you can use a reguler tool, set your light right to where you can see the dent in defenition ,you have to look wich way the metal tarveld and set .i dont know how deep , and how sharp. stick your tool in there and take your time trying to find where you tip is and slowly put some tention and see how the dent is reacting and do sall pushes ,till you find your tip and put more presure on it ,(dont push hard or shock it you will crack the paint )now do that for about 15 minutes till yu see some changes in the dent , if you puch high knock them down , some time you have to puch high for the metal to find its old memory ,keep doing that till you fetiueg the metal .you mighty get it about 60% if you dont have any experiance ,leave it for few minutes and come back to it youll see more .repat the prosses and let me know . www.dentgenies.com

thanks and I think I understand what you are getting too. I will let you know when I try it. I will have to see whats behind the door panel first. That may scare me away. :? Thanks for the revised version I am sure it is tons more to it.
