Well I have been wanting to get this done for my sister for some time now with my new products and tools. A little background. My sister never takes care of her car let alone wash it. I asked her when the last time it was she washed it and she said sometime early last year. The hood was "polished" by my stepdad with a product that obviously didn't work to well. This took for ever to do.

Process:
Wash: Meguiars Gold Class (love the smell)
Didn't even dry it because all of the water was abosrbed by the paint
Clay: Meguiars Smooth Surface clay kit
Wiped down with a 50/50 solution to get any other dirt/clay residue off
Polish: Xmt#3 then XMT#1 (Menzerna IP on Hood)
Wiped again to have a clean surface for Sealant/Wax
Sealant: Danase Paint Sealant
Wax: Liquid Souveran

Ok on to the pictures........

Nice job! You really brought the gloss out in the paint. Looked like flat white before. The side by side hood shot tells it all. You must have clayed a ton off.

Thank you for all the kind remarks. Yes, the clay was destroyed after it. I clayed everything, even the glass. Had to use an entire bar. I kept trying to knead all the crap into the clay, and it go so loaded. Jose, I was in your neck of the woods doing this. Total car took me about 10 hours total cleaning everything. I told my sisters, that she better at least wash it once a month. LOL

I wont get a chance to see the results of The Danase Sealant but I enjoyed the ease it went on and came off. Has a great scent to it as well. Hopefully it lasts until I can go and do it all over again.

Wow! Nice work there! I bet that car trashed your pads even after a complete claying. Is it a single stage?

Thanks! Actually, it ate up my orange pad pretty bad. I guess I am going to need to place an order soon.

Jose, I sure was. I came down for Mothers day. Had brunch at Papa Joes in the Valley.

Yeah, it is good stuff. Big portions but big price. If you stop by the bar for lunch, they have the best chicken salad on marble bread. Lunch Prices are pretty reasonable. Wouldn't go there for dinner unless you want to pay bookoo $. A family friend is the bartender/server there.
