Man, I love this thing. It is a much better choice of transportation for my commute. If I had to drive further then I would probably want a bike, but thing works great! I had it at 70 on the freeway without a problem and it is the most comfy ride I've ever had. It's like driving your couch to work. With the lower back support it really makes for a nice drive. The one thing I hated about my bike was when I got slid back in the seat. That doesn't happen with this bike. :)

The first thing I had to do was clean it up. The former owner had some nice scrapes on it that I knew would come out. I polished the scrapes and paint swapping with a Chemical Guys level 3 cutting compound after giving it a good wash and clay bar treatment. I also took of three or four annoying Honda stickers. The Reflex emblem I don't mind, but the Honda stickers had to go. Then I threw on two coats (over a couple days) of Danase Acrylic Sealant. Man that stuff looks great on silver!! Just check out the body lines and how they glow. This thing looks like it is in the sun even when it isn't. Gotta love it!

Oh, prior to getting the paint in shape I did manage to clean up and treat all the plastic. I used Meguiar's Quik Interior Detailer to dust it off and then I used Wolfgang Rubber/Vinyl protectant on it. I'm considering covering parts of it with silver or maybe black vinyl just to save it from scuffs. I'm going to have to photoshop it some and see what I can come up with. Other than perhaps a little bit taller windshield to cut down on the wind noise, I think the vinyl may be the only mods I do to it. There really isn't much that can be changed on this bike. I'm putting new tires on it next week and the windshield is in the mail. After that it will be good as new. :) Technically it already is good as new. It's a 2001 with 2300 miles on it. lol I got it for $2500, so I'm not complaining. It books for about $3200 since it has the ABS on this particular model. Oh, one other mod I'm doing is that I'm going to get a vanity plate on it that says 70 MPG. lol

Nice buy Anthony! Seeing your OCD decal reminds me I have to find a spot on my bike for the Danase decal. LOL Looking good man!

Did you notice the chrome one on my exhaust thingy? ;) Gotta love subtle stickers. After all, as every Honda owner knows, stickers make the thing go faster. lol

Won't that sucker burn off?!?!? lol Looks good!

You probably added like 20 ponies to that sucker too!

Your second picture really does make it look like a two-wheeled sofa. 70 MPG is quite attractive as well.

Nice work on the details...that is what makes it "yours" instead of just something you use.

It's actually more of a heat shield than part of the exhaust itself. It's just plastic covered in some sort of chrome looking foil, so I doubt a little vinyl lettering on top is going to melt much. ;)

I've been riding it for a week now and this thing is sweeeeeeet. I honestly haven't missed the bike at all. I went to the store last night and brought back 4 two liter bottles of Coke and a bag of chips in my trunk area. I've got a compartment on the dash for my garage door opener. I can keep my gloves in the...well, the glove box. lol This thing has all the comforts of a car and the fun factor of a bike. I love it! I may even shop for a 600cc scooter for my next bike instead of a cruiser. This thing is just too much fun without the 'ick' factor of the little 50cc scooter.
